Get Plex Channels/PlugIns back on your Roku

Got the New Plex app on your Roku, but the Plex channels are gone?

It’s not that Plex completely removed the Plex Channels/Plugins from existence, instead, the Plex app for Roku was designed with the removal of the Plex channels already in mind, I myself love the new apps new features the look and feel of the app, however not having the channels was a deal breaker for me as I have a large collection of Plex Channels I use regularly.

So how do we fix this dilemma?

Simple, we just revert back to the old app!

And just how do we do this you might ask…?

Installing it as a Roku private channel, I wish I knew who created this app so I can give him/them or her the credit as I did not create this app, to install the app simply click here  or log in to your Roku account, add a channel and look for “plexretro”

You should see the new Plex Retro app on your Roku, if you don’t a reboot or update check can help push the app install.

Once installed, you will need to sink the app with your Plex server.
