MovieHD Android APK app has been my go-to solution for new movies and TV Shows for some time now, with its high-quality 1080P/720P streams and reliable Google servers, YES Google servers are used to store all the TV shows and Movies, not sure how they do it,  a massive database of daily updated Movies and TV Shows, this little free app packs a powerful punch, I have been using this app, on my phone, on my Fire TV Stick, and on my PC, and it never ceases to amaze me.

Let me take you through the setup and features of this awesome app

How Do I Install The App?

Make sure you have “Apps From Unknown sources” on within the settings menu, you should be able to install the app afterward, this is what it looks like on Firetv:

How do I activate the App?

To activate the app, there are four options, if you are in a Google environment where you can download apps from the Google store, MovieHD will allow you to log into the app with your Google(Gmail) account if you are not within the Google ecosystem, the creators of the app have a site dedicated to providing free Activation codes, click here to check it out, click the green get activation code button, log in with a Google account and you get your Activation code, if you don’t feel comfortable providing your Gmail to them there is another method, through Facebook, you can reach out to their Facebook page.

Do I need Anything else?

MovieHD will require AMPlayer it will enforce the download during the install of MovieHD before watching the first Video, if you are on FireTV please use Aptoid TV to download this APK, although if you already have Aptoid installed, a pop-up will display with the option of using Aptoid to Install AMPlayer

Tips & Tricks

At this point, you should be good to go, to watch your favorite TV show or a movie you’ve been dying to watch, let me leave you with some tips and tricks.

Do you have a 3D TV?

Try a 3D movie, simply navigate all the way to the left under the Movie section select 3D, movies in this list are Side by Side (SBS) just press the 3D button on your TV remote to activate the SBS mode.

Add a Movie or TV Show to your favorites list

Sometimes it’s good to browse and just make a list of movies and TV shows to watch later, that is why MovieHD has a nifty add to favorites Star option, simply click the star Icon top right corner in order to add to the favorites list

To view your Favorites List, simply navigate all the way to the left, open the Main menu, and select Favorites

Genres

Genres will allow you to filter all Movies or TV Shows by that genre.

How to watch a Movie or TV Show with subtitles?

Make sure you have VLC Player, when playing your content, click the box icon top right corner, a menu will display with player options, select VLC.

Pause the video click the icon to the left of the Play button, here you have options for Audio Track, Subtitles, select a subtitle file and download subtitles, I find it simple to use and most of the time it’s on by default with English subtitles.

Now, just sit down, relax and enjoy a free movie or TV show.
